Random thoughts of the Day:

Automatic toliets and urinals freak me out. I have a horrible feeling that some prevert, yes prevert, has put a video camera in them and is streamin video of my intimate moment of urinating bliss to another million preverts who are doing unnateral acts.

Hotel Irons don't remove wrinkles. If anything they excaerbate the whole situation. With each swip one wrinkle slighlty diminishes as another one is created and instantly becomes inpenetrable.

I have seen the futuure of gym equipment. Each unit includes a 10 inch touch screen with a built in tv. It's aerobic bliss and an excuse to watch terrible telvision that rots your soul, becuase at the very least you saving your body.

Aeroplan has forsaken me. I worked so hard to reach a priviledge level which they won't give me until February 2007. What am I suppose to do for the rest of the year. I want the Air Canada lounge dammit! I want the exclusivity. Boo to Air Canada. I am going to start flying Westjet!

Reciprocal linking, a throw back to the late 90's! With some encouragement from Amanda who I pleasantly accidentally msn'd after a bit of a hiatus. I am going to come out of retirement into semi-retirement.

Semi meaning the occasion post until i figure out what I want from all of this again. When I first started back in 1999, pre-blogger, I was young and wide-eyed looking for fame. Or a least some basic for of internet infamy. Nothing huge like Star Wars kid, but something respectable like a kottke. I worked it, but only with the ammount of effort a University student could but towards it. In other words half-assed. On occasion I treated it like a job, making sure I put in the time every day, submitting one line posts or a quick link. I had to be sure to appease my vast readership that my ego had created. I was all about quantity. Now a little more mature I wish to provide some quality to readers. Something a little more thought out than, I got so drunk last night and why is there a pineapple beside my bed?

colliosn detection examines the phenomenon of listening to music and doing something else. I totally subscribe to this theory and have been practicing it for years!

Wow, it's ridiculously cold. The furnace broke, and the olive oil is in a solid state. It might be better to stay outside.

Much has happen since my self imposed hiatus. That's not true. It wasn't really a hiatus. It started a long time ago with the editing of my life. Keeping the goods bits offline and doing my best not to offend or put too much out in the open until I just didn't post at all. Not sure who I was protecting or what I was trying to garner out of it, but again I have lost the battle. I always think I am ready to pull the plug on midnight inferno, but when the final moment comes, I can't do it.

Last night I couldn't sleep. I was too busy writing the eulogy of this site. Examining the past made me remember why I liked this weblog in the first place. It's my pensieve. A lame Harry Potter reference I know. For those who don't understand it, it's how I mull things over. What makes it out isn't really as important as the process. It's a way to get inside myself.

It's nice to see that large Canadian Business no longer see all Canadians as the same and leveraging their resources to bring new products to focused markets. I think these are both some good examples of new products that will be availble in the upcoming months: An article on Canwest's Dose, as well as an article on the new Virgin/Bell mobile phone offering.

Update: Cure the Catch - The first phase for the Virgin Mobile campaign in Canada.
