Things are kind of weird in the office this week. Yesterday they started to lay off some people. (There is an article about on News.com, you can check it out here) The mood is a little weird. Some people are nervous and others don’t seem to care at all. I would be nervous too, at first it looked like it was going to be the low performers in the company but then some other people got the boot that we were surprised of. It is looking more and more like a cost cutting measure. I guess all will be revealed tonight when the company announces Q1 earnings.



I knew something was up last week when 3 of the other co-op students were "let go", which was pretty much fired. Which is really strange because they only had a couple more weeks to go. They we either really bad employees or there termination was more politically charged than was let on.
