The noise generated at a party can sometimes be really loud. Last night I was sitting down on the couch talking with some friends while I was enjoying some wine and cheese. The conversation hits a lull and it strikes me how loud it is in the room. I know that everyone is talking and using words but I can't make out a single one, only noise can be heard. Then someone swears.
